Love is a Battlefield

This is a very specific request from a follower. They wanted to see an impromptu dance as Rogue and Gambit took a break from video games, set to Pat Benatar's 'Love is a Battlefield'. Some specifics were: Gambit wearing a tight, hot pink tank top with an awkward flamingo (it was a gift from Jubilee and even though it's a women's shirt he wears it anyway) and boxer briefs, Rogue in an olive green tank top and sleep shorts (it morphed into a sweatshirt by time I was done), and Twizzlers. I took the idea and ran with it back in time to the 80's when they were still teenagers. Soooo much research went into that background. And yes, master thief there absolutely stole the last Twizzler AND stuffed the second remote in his underwear just to keep Rogue from getting it. Because he can.

I reckon this qualifies for the #80sxmen tag, huh? I'm only a year and a half late for that one...

I got lazy and used images from Ebay for the posters, and a screen shot from the Love is a Battlefield music video (which is hysterical, btw). Drawn in ProCreate for IPad.
